Around the range several new improvements have been made. The Trap Range has added a new 18’x20’ shade to skeet field #2. This will also serve the ten station sporting clay range. Later in the year there are plans to install a card system to the sporting clays and one skeet field.

Shade at Skeet Field

This will let members shoot seven day a week. The septic was installed to the back parking lot next to the RV hook up area for a resident range officer to live there. The kitchen at the trap club house has been under a remodel job. It was up graded to all stainless equipment and fiber glass paneling wall board, looks great. A couple of new gates will be installed soon near the main club house thanks to AZG&F. The lead shot that was recovered from the trap range 40,000 pounds which we bought half for $12,000 from the guys who did the work has been selling well and we are over a 1,000 on the plus side now.  Several new used chairs are out on the bays thanks to Steve Bell who got them from the Kingman Police department.

Out on the 1000 yard range Reed Porter has the first pit target installed and hope to have a couple more soon. These targets are 6’x6’ and you can get the targets from the range officer on duty.
